Softball Preview: Ahoskie Christian vs. Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners        
        
		
            
 After four games on the road, Ahoskie Christian is heading back home. They will take on the Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Ahoskie Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 14.4  runs per game this season.
 Ahoskie Christian put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. They never let Community Christian onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win.
  Kinsley Dunlow was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Dunlow was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Carly Piland was  incredible,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.  Lauren Dickens was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Pamlico Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  back in March as the team picked up their ninth straight  defeat. They fell  9-6 to Ahoskie Christian.
 Ahoskie Christian pushed their record up to 8-1 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Pamlico Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Ahoskie Christian was able to grind out a solid  win over Pamlico Christian Academy in their previous meeting  back in March, winning  9-6. Will Ahoskie Christian repeat their success,  or does  Pamlico Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
