Baseball Recap: Gonzales Comes Up Short

After flying high against La Pryor on Friday, Gonzales came back down to earth. The Apaches came up short against the John Paul II Guardians on Saturday, falling 13-7.

Gonzales dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for John Paul II, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Gonzales will look to defend their home field on Monday against Stockdale at 7:00 p.m. As for John Paul II, they will venture away from home to square off against Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
