Basketball Game Preview: Biddeford Tigers vs. Bonny Eagle Scots

Biddeford is 1-6 against Bonny Eagle since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Biddeford Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bonny Eagle Scots at 6:00 p.m. Biddeford knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Bonny Eagle likes a good challenge.

Biddeford will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Brunswick, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Biddeford was the clear victor by a 55-33 margin over Brunswick on Tuesday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bonny Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 40-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lewiston.

Bonny Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Biddeford, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Everything went Biddeford's way against Bonny Eagle in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Biddeford made off with a 48-23 win. Does Biddeford have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bonny Eagle turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
