Palisades is 0-3 against Forestview since March of 2023 but things could change on Wednesday. The Palisades Pumas will venture away from home to face off against the Forestview Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Palisades is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Sanaa Dorsey was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Janiya Johnson, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forestview). Their pitcher stepped up to hand Huss a 20-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.
Olivia Hensley was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Forestview got a massive performance out of Miley Skidmore, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Baker, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Forestview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .875. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Palisades' record is now 4-5. As for Forestview, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-5.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Palisades hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .337. However, it's not like Forestview struggles in that department as they've averaged .346. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Palisades suffered a grim 10-3 defeat to Forestview in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Palisades avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
