Baseball Game Preview: Westlake Wildcats vs. Dobbs Ferry Eagles

The Westlake Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Dobbs Ferry Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Westlake and eight for Dobbs Ferry.

It was a proper cat-fight when Westlake duked it out with Pleasantville on Friday. The Wildcats took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Dobbs Ferry lost 16-9 to Tuckahoe on Saturday.

Dobbs Ferry's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Westlake, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Westlake beat Dobbs Ferry 7-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
