Baseball Recap: Francis W. Parker Takes a Loss

Francis W. Parker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Chicago University Maroons, falling 10-3. If the Colonels were looking for revenge after losing 17-1 to the Maroons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Francis W. Parker's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Chicago University, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Francis W. Parker will head out to challenge North Shore Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chicago University, they will take on Saint Ignatius College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
