Softball Recap: Shawnee Renegades vs. Rancocas Valley Red Devils

Shawnee had lost six straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 1-7 to make it seven. They came up short against the Rancocas Valley Red Devils, falling 9-2. The Renegades were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

As for Rancocas Valley, their record now sits at 8-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Rancocas Valley's part, Molly Doppler made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Those nine strikeouts gave Doppler a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI.
