Volleyball Recap: Windsor Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Windsor Charter Academy lost against Mountain View on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Firebirds came up short against the Mountain Lions, falling 3-0. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Brady Johnson paced Windsor Charter Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Johnson got some help from Taylor Smith and his five assists. Finally, Johnson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Windsor Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Mountain View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Windsor Charter Academy will venture away from home to face off against Forge Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mountain View, they will be taking part in a tournament against Centaurus at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
