Basketball Recap: Waupun Takes a Loss

Waupun lost against Kettle Moraine Lutheran back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Waupun Warriors had to suffer through a 61-34 loss at the hands of the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Chargers are ranked second).

Waupun now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1.

Waupun will welcome Plymouth at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, they will face off against Ripon at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
