It was a good run, but the Kingston Redskins unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Idabel. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kingston of the 62-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

John paul Sumo was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points for Idabel. Sumo is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Threadgill, who scored 13 points.

Kingston's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Idabel, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingston will take on Sulphur at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Idabel, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Pocola at 5:00 p.m.
