Volleyball Game Preview: Sherando Warriors vs. James Wood Colonels + How To Watch

Sherando hasn't had much luck against James Wood recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will host the Colonels at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Sherando is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since September 4th on Thursday. They came up short against Millbrook, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, James Wood is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of North Hagerstown. The Colonels lost 3-0 to the Hubs. The loss was the Colonels' first of the season.

While James Wood was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into North Hagerstown's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.

Sherando's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for James Wood, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 18-1.
