Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Joseph Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over Calvin Christian on Thursday. St. Joseph Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Calvin Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Asher Larkin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The victory (which was St. Joseph Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 12-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Calvin Christian, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7.

As of now, neither St. Joseph Academy nor Calvin Christian have any future games scheduled.
