Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Westside on Wednesday, sneaking past 44-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chargers have posted since December 13, 2024.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Central, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.
