Basketball Recap: Whitefish Comes Up Short

Whitefish lost against Browning last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Whitefish Bulldogs took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Browning Indians. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Indians are ranked 32nd).

Whitefish's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Browning, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Looking ahead, Whitefish won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bigfork at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitefish is facing Bigfork at the right time seeing as Bigfork is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Browning does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
