Soccer Recap: McAllen Find Success

After losing to Sharyland the last time they met, McAllen decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The McAllen Bulldogs came out on top against the Sharyland Rattlers by a score of 3-1 on Friday.

The win got McAllen back to even at 3-3-2. As for Sharyland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McAllen will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Sharyland, they will host Rowe at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Sharyland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
