Basketball Game Preview: Cloverport Aces vs. Hancock County Hornets

Cloverport is 0-10 against Hancock County since December of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Aces will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m.

Cloverport is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They were dealt a 95-21 defeat at the hands of Breckinridge County last Friday.

Meanwhile, Hancock County put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Fort Knox 66-33. Those 66 points were actually the fewest the Hornets have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Cloverport was dealt a bruising 69-26 loss at the hands of Hancock County in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Aces avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
