Basketball Recap: Leavitt Takes a Loss

Leavitt was the 66-49 winner over Cape Elizabeth when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Leavitt Hornets took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cape Elizabeth Capers on Monday.

Leavitt's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Cape Elizabeth, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cape Elizabeth beat Leavitt by a score of 57-48 on Tuesday.
