Basketball Recap: St. Bernard's Takes a Loss

St. Bernard lost against McKinleyville back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The St. Bernard's Crusaders took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McKinleyville Panthers.

McKinleyville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Armstrong out in front who posted six points along with seven boards and six assists. Bode Douglass was another key player, putting up 18 points.

St. Bernard's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for McKinleyville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

St. Bernard's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McKinleyville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 57-49 victory against Arcata on the 14th.
