The Prairie Falcons will face off against the Battle Ground Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Prairie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Meanwhile, Battle Ground fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Montesano on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Battle Ground's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Everything went Prairie's way against Battle Ground in their previous meeting on Thursday, as Prairie made off with an 8-1 victory. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
