Soccer Recap: Swansea Has No Trouble Against Silver Bluff

After failing to score in their last game, Swansea made sure to put some goals up on the board against Silver Bluff on Friday. They blew past the Bulldogs 10-1. Ana Castro was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Swansea's lineup was just a bit different on Friday as Chapel-Anne Farris got a bit more time on the pitch (35 vs. her season average of 17). Farris made the most of the opportunity, scoring two goals and one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Swansea's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Silver Bluff, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Swansea will venture away from home to square off against Newberry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Silver Bluff, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hampton County at 6:00 p.m. on April 18.
