Soccer Recap: Highlands Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Highlands duked it out withWagner on Friday. The Highlands Owls opened the new year with a less-than-successful 3-1 defeat to the Wagner Thunderbirds. That's two games in a row now that the Owls have lost by exactly two goals.

Highlands is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Wagner, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highlands will head out to face off against Holmes at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wagner, they will square off against Harlandale at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
