Softball Recap: Foothill Falcons vs. Chaparral Cowboys
Foothill put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over the Chaparral Cowboys. That's two games straight that Foothill has won by exactly 15 runs.
Camren VanThomme made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. VanThomme has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive pitching appearances. VanThomme was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Azalea Robles was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jazzy Hall, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
