Volleyball Recap: Make It Nine in a Row for Da Vinci

Da Vinci had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bel Air Highlanders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Da Vinci was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-21.

Bel Air's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Hailey Morales, who had 13 digs and four assists, and Claire Dibler, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Da Vinci's victory bumped their record up to 22-2-1. As for Bel Air, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Da Vinci will challenge Immanuel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bel Air, they will square off against Horizon at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
