Football Recap: North Salinas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Salinas lost against Soquel back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings were beaten by the Knights 41-12. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Knights are ranked 59th).

Jose Dueas threw for 50 yards and one TD. Matt Ruiz was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards.

This is the second loss in a row for North Salinas and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Soquel, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Salinas is set to face off against their familiar foe Palma at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Soquel will challenge rival Hollister at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
