Softball Recap: Dinuba Emperors vs. Lemoore Tigers

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dinuba). Everything went their way against the Lemoore Tigers on Friday as they made off with a 17-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Emperors, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Cambria Alderete was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Camila Flores, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3.

Dinuba always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lemoore only posted an OBP of .455.
