No. 2 Thomas County Central against No. 15 Lee County highlight weekend slate.

This week's high school football schedule in Georgia is headlined by No. 15 Lee County (Leesburg) taking on No. 2 Thomas County Central (Thomasville) on Friday.

The last time Thomas County Central allowed a point was Sept. 22. Since then, the Yellow Jackets have shut out three straight opponents led by four-star sophomore defensive end Cam Brooks, who has 4.5 sacks and four-star junior Auburn commit Kendarius Reddick, who has three interceptions and a forced fumble.

Lee County comes in with a 7-1 record and four straight games scoring at least 40 points, including back-to-back 56-point outings the past two weeks. The Trojans are led on offense by junior running back Ousmane Kromah, who has a fleet of scholarship offers including Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State. Kromah has 13 touchdowns this season including four in a 44-35 victory over Houston County where he rushed for 327 yards.

Another top 25 matchup will occur between No. 24 Valdosta and No. 4 Colquitt County (Norman Park). Valdosta looks to win against the Packers for the first time since 2019.

The state’s top team, Mill Creek (Hoschton), will take its 8-0 record to Dacula on Friday. Led on offense by Shane Throgmartin, Cameron Robinson and Trajen Greco, the Hawks have average 38 points per game.
