Baseball Recap: Glenns Ferry's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Glenns Ferry extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 6-4 in the process. They blew past the Rimrock Raiders 11-1. 11 seems to be a good number for the Pilots as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Junior Sanchez and Payton Reynolds did most of the damage at the plate: Sanchez went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Reynolds went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Reynolds has become a key player for Glenns Ferry: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Bryce Sterling, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

As for Rimrock, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Rimrock's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Farfan, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Glenns Ferry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-1 victory against Idaho City on the 9th. As for Rimrock, they have also already played their next game, a 30-10 loss against Garden Valley on the 9th.
