Baseball Recap: Soddy Daisy Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Blackman, Soddy Daisy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Providence Christian Academy LIONS.

Jake Jackson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 3-for-5. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dallas Meneely, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Soddy Daisy's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Providence Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.

Coming up, Soddy Daisy will head out on the road to challenge Riverdale at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Providence Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Providence Christian Academy LIONS duke it out with University School of Nashville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
