Volleyball Recap: Columbia Falls Wildcats vs. Whitefish Bulldogs
Columbia Falls was the 3-1 winner over Whitefish when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Columbia Falls started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-10.
Rylee Sweeney paced Columbia Falls' offense, picking up 14 kills. Sweeney got some help from Jezanie Brooks and her 41 assists. Sweeney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
