Volleyball Recap: Newton Local Comes Up Short

After flying high against Franklin Monroe on Thursday, Newton Local came back down to earth. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Fairlawn Jets on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Jets: they've now lost five in a row.

While Newton Local ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-17, 25-20.
