Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Bryson Hutcheson stepped things up a notch to give Las Plumas the 'W'. Corning had no answer to Hutcheson as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Hutcheson also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Las Plumas is 5-1-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-7 otherwise.

Hutcheson's strong effort led Las Plumas over Corning and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
