Wesleyan Christian Academy got themselves on the board against Greensboro Day School on Tuesday, but Greensboro Day School never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Bengals with a sharp 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Elijah Martin tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nick Papciak, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Wesleyan Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 9-11 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Caleb Hasty, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

The victory was the third in a row for Wesleyan Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 12-11. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Greensboro Day School, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
