The Jimtown Jimmies will face off against the Westview Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Jimtown 3.9, Westview 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Westview will be up against a hot Jimtown squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Jimmies blew past Elkhart Christian Academy 18-3 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Jimmies, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Colin Davis was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Davis was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cole Dutton, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Broderic Kaler was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Jimtown hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Westview didn't have quite enough to beat Fremont on Friday and fell 2-1.
Jimtown's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Westview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Jimtown was able to grind out a solid victory over Westview in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 6-3. Will the Jimmies repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
