Volleyball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the St. Marys Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for St. Marys, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10-1 record this season.

Valley will face off against Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Marys, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Parkersburg Catholic on the 14th.
