Football Recap: Southside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southside and Carolina Academy pushed the score to 36-24 the last time they played Carolina Academy, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Tigers took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The match marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Southside's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Carolina Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southside will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Westside at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Carolina Academy, they will head out to take on Pendleton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
