Canterbury came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 54-41 victory over the Lakeside Christian Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-29 on January 10th.

Canterbury's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaylen Thomas, who posted 14 points along with seven boards and three steals. Thomas has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brooks Merrill, who put up 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Canterbury smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Canterbury is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Lakeside Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
