Softball Game Preview: Risco Tigers vs. New Madrid County Central Eagles

The Risco Tigers will head out to square off against the New Madrid County Central Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Risco came up short against Kennett on Tuesday, falling 14-3. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, New Madrid County Central narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past South Pemiscot 5-3.

Risco's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for New Madrid County Central, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Risco couldn't quite get it done against New Madrid County Central when the teams last played back in March of 2024 as they fell 14-10. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
