Basketball Recap: Floyd County Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Floyd County had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They managed a 57-52 win over the Virginia High Bearcats. Winning may never get old, but the Buffaloes sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Floyd County's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. As for Virginia High, their loss ended a 14-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 23-8.

Looking ahead, Floyd County will be playing in front of their home fans against Graham on Friday. One thing working in Graham's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 contests. Virginia High does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
