Football Recap: Yuto Kawamura-Johnson and Andrew Chung Secure Win for West Orange + How To Watch

West Orange won the last time they faced Wekiva and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 38-14 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Mustangs are ranked 129th).

A big part of West Orange's win came down to the chemistry between Andrew Chung and his top target Yuto Kawamura-Johnson. Chung threw for 257 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt while Kawamura-Johnson picked up 102 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those four passing touchdowns gave Chung a new career-high.

One reason for the win was West Orange's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Namir Coleman was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. West Orange received some extra help from Michael Onorata, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

West Orange has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 33.0 points this season. As for Wekiva, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

West Orange wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 54-21 win against Titusville on the 5th. As for Wekiva, they have also already played their next game, a 52-0 loss against Horizon on the 5th.
