Basketball Recap: Meridian's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 64-54 to the Capital Golden Eagles. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 72-69 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Meridian's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-7. As for Capital, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

Meridian has already played their next matchup, a 63-60 loss against Rocky Mountain on the 18th. As for Capital, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-63 victory against Centennial on the 18th.
