Volleyball Recap: St. Amant's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

St. Amant not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 15th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Walker Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. For the Gators, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Amant was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-10.

Walker's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ava Scroggins, who had eight digs and five assists, and Maddison Passman, who had seven digs and two aces.

The win (which was St. Amant's third in a row) raised their record to 16-10. As for Walker, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.

The future could be bright for both St. Amant and Walker: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Gators will try to hand Woodlawn-B.R. their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Walker will look to extend Dutchtown's three-game losing streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
