Basketball Recap: Wakefield Memorial Comes Up Short

Wakefield Memorial was the 49-44 winner over Watertown when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Wakefield Memorial Warriors took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Watertown Raiders on Tuesday.

Wakefield Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Watertown, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wakefield Memorial will take on Wilmington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Watertown, they will face off against Melrose at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
