Victory Christian has no trouble against Jefferson Christian Academy

The Victory Christian Lions entered their tilt with the Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Victory Christian strolled past Jefferson Christian Academy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 67-48. For Victory Christian, this counts as revenge for the 78-54 defeat Jefferson Christian Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Peyton Scott was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points. Caden Brunson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Victory Christian has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Jefferson Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victory Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Appalachian at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th. One thing working in Appalachian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven games. As for Jefferson Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Talladega County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Talladega County Central is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
