Basketball Recap: Hardaway Picks Up 20th Straight Win at Home

Hardaway came tearing into Thursday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Kendrick Cherokees to the tune of 89-5. With the Hawks ahead 53-3 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hardaway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mikayla Johnson, who went 11 for 20 to rack up 25 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Akilah Shelton, who went 8 of 16 on her way to 16 points in addition to seven boards and five blocks.
