Preview: Hudson Hawks vs. Littleton Tigers
Hudson has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Littleton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Hudson pushed their score all the way to 60 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Burncoat. While losing is never fun, Hudson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Burncoat is ranked third).
Meanwhile, Littleton came up short against Ayer Shirley last Wednesday and fell 53-42.
Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Littleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything came up roses for Hudson against Littleton in their previous meeting back in February as the team secured a 69-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hudson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
