Udall and Sedan are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2022, but likely not for long. The Eagles will host the Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Udall came up short against South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven] back in April, falling 9-3.

Korie Bird was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Breana Maxwell, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Sedan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to South Sumner [Caldwell/South Haven]. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Sedan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brailee Blakemore, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Sedan's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Udall, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything went Udall's way against Sedan in their previous matchup back in April, as Udall made off with a 14-5 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
