Volleyball Recap: Pymatuning Valley Falls to Champion in First Game of Season

Pymatuning Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Champion Golden Flashes on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Lakers in their meetings with the Golden Flashes: they've now lost five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19.

Coming up, Pymatuning Valley will host Cardinal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Lakers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Champion, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Berkshire on the 19th.
