Basketball Recap: Pataula Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Pataula Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Randolph-Clay Red Devils and fell 78-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-18 back in December of 2024.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelsie Tillman, who posted 11 points.

Pataula Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Randolph-Clay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Pataula Charter Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-46 defeat against Stewart County on the 1st. As for Randolph-Clay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-26 victory against Calhoun County on the 1st.
