After losing to West Adams the last time they met, Santee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Panthers on Wednesday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Fernando Silva, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Santee's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 3-8 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Valente Zuniga, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs.

Santee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 8.8.

The win made it two in a row for Santee and bumps their season record up to 7-10. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 10.5 runs. As for West Adams, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Santee will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
