Last Saturday, North Providence humbled Hope with a 48-12 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Providence.
Meanwhile, Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Everything went their way against Scituate as Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout made off with a 35-15 win.
Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyler Stanton, who rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout also got help from Ethan Koczwanski who showed off his sure hands for 159 receiving yards.
Their wins bumped North Providence to 5-3 and Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout to 7-1.
